Zurich, Switzerland-headquartered Zurich Insurance Group appointed Dave Anderson as credit and political risk director for global business development. He will be based in Zurich’s Washington, D.C., office.
Anderson has spent the past six years helping to grow Zurich’s business in the Asia/Pacific region. From 2006 to 2009, Anderson established Zurich’s credit and political risk business in Sydney, Australia, and, in 2009, he launched the Singapore business and then led Zurich’s underwriting team in Asia.
Prior to joining Zurich in 2002, Anderson held positions with FCIA Management Corp and Citicorp International Trade Indemnity Inc.
