Aon Hewitt, the global human resource consulting business of Aon plc, recently hired John Asencio as senior vice president in the New York office.
In his new role, Asencio will serve as the lead health and benefits strategist, providing consultation to some of Aon Hewitt’s largest clients. He will also oversee Aon Hewitt’s healthcare industry council, providing expertise on the health care services delivered to health systems, medical centers and hospitals across the country.
Prior to Aon, Asencio served as senior vice president and east region leader at Sibson Consulting, where he managed revenue, operations and staffing. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, American College of Healthcare Executives, and Economic Club of New York.
