In the name of ________(fill in the propaganda). I think the state just wants more money from title and registration. Last time I check it cost $100 to title a vehicle in Maryland. Even my $220 trailer cost $100 to get a title then another 6% “title tax” on top of the sales tax I already paid(double taxation), then another $126 to get the tag….. do the math, by the time i get out of the MVA, I spend more there than the actual cost of buying the trailer.

I carry insurance for my 50cc as I do with my 150cc, and wear a Snell helmet because I choose to since there are many uninsured and crazy drivers out there. but once again, i choose to for my own good, not because the government said so…. I guess the MVA is going to get another $400(title and title tax) for my 50cc.

The state does not really like scooters, because, they were not really generating revenue. no title, no tag, tiny amount of gas tax. I am sure they want to close that gap.

Why don’t they start pulling people over for using a cell phone. I even see police officers driving and talking on cell phones. It seems like it is not very good public relations for a cop to do this and seems like it is telling us that it is ok for a police officer to break the law. Do as we say, not as we do. Some of us cant afford an automobile so how are we supposed to afford title fees and insurance and registrations.
