W. R. Berkley Corp. has appointed Joseph Sullivan as president of Facultative Resources Inc. He is based in Stamford, Connecticut.
Facultative Resources is a broker market casualty, professional liability and property facultative underwriting manager for its affiliate, Berkley Insurance Company, a U.S. domestic professional reinsurance company and a member company of W. R. Berkley Corp.
Sullivan succeeds Gerald King, who has been appointed vice chairman of Berkley Facultative Reinsurance Services, LLC.
Sullivan, who has over 20 years of experience in property/casualty reinsurance, most recently served as Fac Re’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, having joined W. R. Berkley Corp. in 2010.
