Once again, NY costs rise and nothing is done to address it. NY will never be a business friendly state as long as costs like these remain high. Worse yet, tax revenues decrease when business (and people) leave the state for less expensive areas and if they are neither offset or increased by new businesses entering the state, remaining businesses and individual taxpayers will have to cough up more money to fund the state’s generous programs. So the same routine goes on and on with no relief for anyone and NY remains at the bottom of the list of states in which to do business. (Meantime, Gov. Cuomo drags his feet with countless repeated and expensive studies on a new source of revenue-hydrofracking – which the federal EPA has already declared a safe means of extracting natural gas.)
