Arbella Introduces Carpartment Insurance

The Arbella Insurance Group has launched Carpartment insurance, which offers discounts to renters insurance customers who insure their cars with Arbella.

“Renter’s insurance is carried by only 31 percent of tenants nationwide, and many of the uninsured have no idea that their possessions aren’t covered. Tenants, especially first-time renters, need to realize that going without renter’s insurance is a big risk, as rental units are burglarized 50 percent more often than owner-occupied properties,” said Jim Hyatt, Arbella’s vice president of personal lines.

With Carpartment, Arbella is offering policyholders the opportunity to add renter’s insurance to their car insurance starting at $3 a week, covering a property in case of loss or damage by fire, burst pipes, burglary, and more. As a further incentive, Arbella is offering a 10 percent auto insurance discount for existing policyholders who also purchase renter’s insurance through the Carpartment program.

Carpartment insurance is now available to Arbella private passenger vehicle customers in Massachusetts.
