    Silly me, I thought they were cutting out all the red tape from the government to make these people whole again. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just cut a check for the balance on the loans so there won’t be a late mortgage payment problem.

    A relative was just denied insurance coverage because the large sink hole in her basement and foundation shifting couldn’t have been created by the 12 feet of swirling water which invaded her house during Sandy…according to the insurance company. Does the insurance company think that little green men lived in the basement digging a hole? What a sad commentary on the industry. Everyone passing the buck.

      I am sorry the relative is having a problem, but insurance underwriters do not want to inherit a problem. Perhaps the relative should look for a different site to build on that doesn’t have the problems you described.
