The public entity insurance program—underwritten by Trident and now distributed by The McGowan Cos.—is available to municipalities (boroughs, cities, counties and towns) in Pennsylvania. The program offers a package of specialty insurance products, including auto liability, auto physical damage, crime, employment practices, general liability, inland marine, property, public officials, law enforcement liability and umbrella coverages.
Trident Insurance Services, LLC provides commercial insurance for small-to-mid-sized public entities in the U.S. The company has a distribution network of 650 brokers in 30 states, serving more than 2,000 municipalities, public schools and special districts. Trident’s public entity insurance program specializes in municipalities with populations of less than 100,000 and counties with populations of less than 500,000.
