Lancer Indemnity Company, a standard lines commercial property/casualty insurance company in Long Beach, New York, has hired Mickey Wind as underwriter.
In this position, Wind will focus on new business accounts and analyze commercial business risks.
Prior to joining Lancer Indemnity, Wind was New York marketing manager for LIG Insurance Company Ltd, where he specialized in new account development, market research and competitive analysis, and led field training in the use of the company’s interactive computer system. That followed underwriting positions with Global Liberty Insurance Company and Benchmark Management.
Lancer Indemnity Company offers commercial package, general liability and property, and flood coverages to small and medium sized businesses, such as owners of mixed-use and habitational buildings, restaurants, retail/wholesale, manufacturers, offices and artisan contractors in urban and suburban areas. Marketed through a network of licensed insurance brokers, the program targets Main Street-type accounts located in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
