Brownyard Group, a Bay Shore, New York-based program administrator providing specialized insurance coverage for select industry groups, announced two promotions and the hiring of a new client service specialist.
Maggie Hammarth was promoted to account manager in the underwriting department. She previously served as underwriting assistant. Hammarth will be responsible for managing Siren, Brownyard Group’s insurance program for alarm and monitoring service firms, while continuing to manage Brownyard’s underwriting support team. Prior to joining Brownyard in 2001, she served as personal lines senior service representative at Liberty Mutual.
Ruth Connelly was promoted to underwriting assistant, serving as a primary contact for brokers and agents, and also working on renewals. She previously served as client relations specialist in Brownyard’s client services department with the primary responsibility of communicating with brokers and agents. Prior to joining Brownyard in 1999, Connelly held positions at Martell Medical Products and at Arcotoys Inc.
LeAna Anderson joined Brownyard Group as client services specialist. As a member of Brownyard’s client services team, she will focus on communicating with and servicing Brownyard’s prospects. Anderson previously worked as a program administrator for Augeo Affinity Marketing.
Brownyard Group is a program administrator that has provided specialized insurance programs for select industries for more than 60 years. These industries include security guards, pest control operators, cosmetics manufacturers, alarm systems, private investigators and security consultants and the beauty industry.
