U.S. Risk Insurance Group Hires Daum as Executive VP in New York

U.S. Risk Insurance Group Inc. has hired John B. Daum as executive vice president for the New York City office.

Daum brings with him over 35 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He started his career as a reinsurance broker in London and worked for General Re, Orion Capital and several reinsurance brokers including E.W. Blanch. He also launched Lockton Re’s initial entrance into the U.S. market. Throughout his career Daum has focused on the program space, working with managing general agents and issuing carriers in the development of new business.

U.S. Risk Insurance Group is a specialty lines underwriting manager and wholesale broker headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Operating 16 domestic and international branches, it offers products and services through affiliate companies.
