Integro Ltd., an insurance brokerage and risk management firm based in New York City, announced an addition to its Trade & Logistics practice with the acquisition of Energy Insurance Brokers (EIB) in East Greenbush, New York. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Established in 1989, EIB specializes in trucking and energy risks. EIB founder Michael Reilly and his staff will join Integro’s Trade & Logistics practice.
Integro said EIB’s experience writing coverage for motor carriers and serving the energy sector brings expanded capabilities to Integro’s growing national and worldwide Logistics practice. EIB also gives Integro an upstate New York office presence, Integro said. EIB’s staff will remain in its East Greenbush location, outside of Albany, New York.
