Alliant Insurance Services, a specialty insurance brokerage based in Newport Beach, California, hired Reed VanOrsdel as vice president of Employee Benefits Group. VanOrsdel is based in Alliant’s Bethesda, Maryland, office.
VanOrsdel will focus on business development, revenue growth, and plan design and implementation for a diverse roster of clients within the Beltway and throughout the U.S.
A benefits professional with experience on both the carrier and brokerage sides of the business, VanOrsdel works closely with clients in a broad range of industries.
Established in 1925, Alliant provides property/casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, surety, and financial products and services to more than 26,000 clients nationwide, including public entities, tribal nations, healthcare, energy, law firms, real estate, construction, and other industry groups.
