So we are to believe that the drone operator started up his drone outside the sprawling National Tennis Center grounds, somehow lost control of it and somehow it crashed into Louis Armstrong stadium. We may have some swampland in Kansas to sell. I hope they throw the book at him. Station a guard outside the stadium with a shotgun and shoot down the next drone they see.

Look, no one was injured, and no harm was done. So what was done wrong? Nothing. He didn’t violate any local or international laws therefore allowing him to walk free.

Are you another of those idiot apologists that don’t know right from wrong? What would you say if the drone came down and someone was seriously injured or killed? Flying a drone anywhere near where a large crowd attending a sporting event is wrong, get it?

A drone is certainly “Innovative Technology.” He may have been trying it for class, the match in progress unbeknown to him. Speculation, of course, but it isn’t far-fetched.

Vigilance is important but he doesn’t need law books; only science ones.
