Massachusetts Firm to Pay EPA $199K Over Hazardous Waste Claims

    so instead of spending the 199k on preventive and proactive measures, it goes to the EPA division for partys and bonuses.

    EPA should be there to help, and enforce not punish. I’m sure some companies deserve punishment but much of this is extortion because NO company has the resources to go against the EPA.

      Do you honestly believe that the money goes to parties and bonuses? What proof do you have of that?

      Typically the fines go to the cost of operations for the EPA including the pollution clean-up superfund.
