What’s this world coming to when a person illegally operating a dirt bike on public roads at 2 am can’t safely flee peace officers over a railroad trestle not intended for public use?
Someone should have looked this over before letting the intern publish it. For being all of six sentences, the writing here is remarkably cringeworthy.
Dummy should have just pulled over when the officer tried to stop him. People have no respect for the law anymore, and they don’t take responsibility for their actions. Almost everyone is out for the easy buck, and the lawyers are the ones who win.
I would hate to die in a dumb incident like this and have people like me judging the stupidity of it all!
One of the dumbest cases I have heard of was a woman driving her motor home, put it on cruise control and left the drivers seat to make some coffee. She crashed and then won her case. Instructions were not clear enough apparently.
I cannot believe that this idiot would be allowed to bring a suit based on the circumstances. I can’t believe that she could find a lawyer desperate enough to take the case.
Hopefully, the judge will dismiss the case out of hand and have the woman & her lawyer tied to the tracks to await the next train.
