Authorities said six vehicles were destroyed in a fire at a Middlesex, N.J., automobile scrapyard.
NJ.com reports the blaze broke out at Absolute Auto Salvage around 12:45 p.m. Sunday. Police said the fire spread through the vehicles and an outbuilding in the lot before firefighters could control it. It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the fire, and police said no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but authorities don’t think it’s suspicious.
