I started out at 27k as a property accountant at a property management group with a 4-year degree. If this wage hike works out I’m going to go flip burgers at Harvard!

Well let them walk, it should take no time at all to hire non union workers with the same or better skills to replace them.

Reagan fired the Air Traffic Controllers who threatened to strike. We never missed a beat and they had to find other employment.

To put it in perspective there are a lot of recent college grads who don’t make $35k/year and many others who while they might earn more, don’t get much in the way of health or 401k benefits.
On one hand I’m not against what anyone can earn but at the same time the market for labor is not all that robust and it has to be said that striking for this type of wage is not the norm. Between the effect of illegal immigration as well as the several millions who have given up looking for work since the great recession, its hard for the average person to leverage wage increases that keep up with the cost of living here these days.
And please-not trying to stir up a political debate but our economy isn’t doing too well and if these folks can get a few more bucks, then God Bless ’em.

So you’re saying that the cafeteria at Harvard is not staffed with college kids trying to pay their way through school???

I’m really surprised this liberal institution that churns out SJWs in the masses isn’t on board with this. Come on Harvard, practice what you preach. #fightfor15

B, I suppose the university didn’t want to pick up the latest increase on health insurance from our now infamous Obamacare.

Once again, the liberal hypocrisy comes through. $15 hour minimum? Free health care? Free education? Free Obamaphones? Global warming alerts from your private jet or limo? The academia nuts in their sheltered halls always show their true colors when it affects them. Not in my back yard.

Yep, it’s easy to spend when it’s someone else’s money.

Sure is, that’s why Drumpf set up a charitable foundation. Way easier to buy that picture of himself that way. He has screwed the donators of that charity bigly. Bigly, people, okay? People are saying, that’s what I’m hearing, people are retweeting. Wall.

Trump will put us back on the gold standard and money will start to acrete in value, versus what it has been doing….

Drumpf doesn’t believe in the gold standard and anyone with a current econ 101 will tell you returning to the gold standard has a 0% chance of ever actually happening.
