Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company, a Towson, Md.-based writer of workers’ compensation insurance, has reappointed Leonard Schuler Jr. as a member to the board of directors for a term of four years, effective June 1, 2017.
The Maryland State Senate has also confirmed the reappointment of Wayne R. Gioioso Sr. to Chesapeake’s board of directors for a term of five years from June 1, 2016.
Gioioso serves as secretary for the board of directors. Governor Larry Hogan Jr., submitted Gioioso’s name for the Senate’s consent at the beginning of the 2017 legislative session.
Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company is Maryland’s largest writer of workers’ compensation insurance. It is a not-for-profit, non-stock, private corporation that has served as a continuous source for fairly priced workers’ compensation insurance since 1914.
