QBE North America Hires Keeping as NYC-Based Eastern Regional Executive

QBE North America, an operating division of QBE Group, has hired Matt Keeping as a regional executive in the Eastern region.

In this role, Keeping will lead QBE’s go-to-market activities as an integrated specialist insurer in the 20-state region.

Based in New York City, he will be accountable for the region’s profitable growth across QBE’s specialized insurance business portfolio, as well as the development of all agent and broker relationships in the region. He will oversee business planning and collaborate with underwriting and claims leadership to deliver better end-to-end risk management solutions through applied expertise.

Keeping previously served on QBE North America’s National Advisory Council in his most recent role as head of broking for Willis Towers Watson, according to Mark Cantin, president of field operations at QBE North America, in a company press release.

Keeping has 25 years of experience in the insurance business. Prior to QBE and his role at Willis Towers Watson, he served in a variety of leadership roles in London and New York at Willis Group, which he joined in 2003.

In the early part of his career, he spent five years living and working in Argentina with a predecessor company of Aon before returning to London, where he was responsible for Aon’s Latin American property team.
