CNA has appointed Tom Allen as vice president of its Boston, Mass., branch, effective January 2, 2018.
In this role, Allen will be responsible for leading the branch in cultivating deeper relationships with producers and accelerating CNA’s market presence in the Boston territory. He will report to Jim Romanelli, senior vice president and Northeastern zone officer.
Allen has nearly three decades of industry experience and a knowledge of the Boston marketplace, Romanelli said in a company press release.
Allen joins CNA from AIG’s property and casualty division, most recently serving as managing director for the Boston region. He has also held other leadership roles at AIG, including vice president of business development, vice president of field operations, vice president and regional manager, and regional manager of national accounts.
CNA provides a range of standard and specialized property and casualty insurance products and services for businesses and professionals in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
