Selective Insurance Company of America, a subsidiary of Branchville, N.J.-headquartered Selective Insurance Group Inc., has announced several officer appointments.
It has appointed Matthew Caton to vice president of property claims. Caton joined Selective in 2015 as assistant vice president of property claims. Prior to that, he served as associate manager of property claims for North and South Carolina for Travelers Insurance.
Additionally, John Hsu has been appointed to assistant vice president of enterprise risk management. Hsu joined Selective in July 2017. Prior to that, he served as chief reserving actuary at Hallmark Financial Services.
Finally, Selective has appointed Lisa Petza to assistant vice president of personal lines marketing. Petza joined Selective in 2007 as a senior personal lines marketing specialist. Prior to that, she served as a senior personal lines marketing specialist at Zurich Insurance Company.
Selective Insurance Group Inc. is a holding company for 10 property and casualty insurance companies. Through independent agents, the insurance companies offer standard and specialty insurance for commercial and personal risks, and flood insurance underwritten by the National Flood Insurance Program.
