How’s this lowlife going to pay off the $214,000?

Why…he’s going to start a new business of course. He should be able to steal, I mean, make enough to pay it back.

Probation! The man has plead guilty to multiple issues related to defrauding people as a contractor … jail time is what he needs, lose the ability to come and go. He needs an old fashion work detail for a few years. And the money that was awarded will never be collected.

That is nothing. Several years ago the town in which I live in Southern California actually let a road construction to a contractor who did not have a license! He faked the license, kept putting off the bond and began the job before another contractor investigated the guy, told the local newspaper and then the city manager who lied like a jackal trying to justify the illegal job let. In the end the city manager was fired, his assistant who just used a checklist for the bid docs was fired, and the highway commission reprimanded. The supposed contractor & his crony cons skipped town and weren’t ever brought to justice.
