CoverWallet, a small business insurance startup, has expanded its presence in the U.S. with a new office in Rochester, N.Y.
This expansion comes as CoverWallet in February announced a strategic partnership with Zurich to grow its presence in Europe.
The new space increases the company’s footprint and supports its growth strategy in leveraging the area’s insurance and high-technology talent pool. The goal of the new office is to help double CoverWallet’s workforce in the U.S. as the company continues with its mission of protecting small businesses and helping them understand, purchase and manage commercial insurance products online, according to a company press release.
CoverWallet Chief Operating Officer Paul Rosen said in the release that the company plans to add more than 100 jobs in the Rochester area within the next two years. CoverWallet is actively hiring, and currently has its global headquarters in New York City and its European headquarters in Madrid, Spain.
