Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired United Dealer Services LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Highland Mills, N.Y., United Dealer Services LLC is a retail insurance broker and program administrator. It provides a range of insurance coverages to franchised auto dealerships in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Michigan, Virginia, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Pennsylvania. It is also a program administrator for franchised auto dealers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Principals Randolph T. and Dustin Winston will remain in their current location under the direction of Dan Tropp, head of Gallagher’s mid-Atlantic retail property and casualty brokerage operations.
