It is amazing, isn’t it? Almost always female, at least that is the local experience in my town. In 5 years one woman made off with $500,000 and she was office manager at a large medical clinic (this woman is still in prison). Same clinic had another theft of around $60,000 within 2 years. Another doctor in town lost about $260,000 2 years ago. Doctors are the worst businessmen. How do you not realize that much money is missing?
Amazing how many stories come out about employees, usually women stealing and defrauding their employers. Usually, a long term employee doing it.
