Merchants Insurance Group Customer Experience Lead Ginny Winkworth has been named as co-chair of the Customer Experience Work Group of the Agents Council for Technology (ACT), a program of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).
ACT helps independent agencies, carriers and vendors put new technology and systems into effect to improve industry workflows. It focuses on strategic trends to improve the customer experience and provides recommendations for best practices.
The ACT Customer Experience Work Group was designed to assist independent agents and their carriers to enhance the customer experience during the research, buying, renewal and advocacy periods.
In her position as customer experience lead at Merchants, Winkworth is responsible for improving the overall agent and policyholder experience.
Before joining Merchants in January 2017, Winkworth was responsible for customer relationship management for an insurance services provider. She also has previous work experience as a personal lines underwriter and insurance business analyst.
