    You were caught on surveillance. Stop wasting the court’s time and money and just plead “no contest” already.

      Agreed! Why do the courts even entertain something like this, other than to enrich the lawyers?

        The courts only entertain it to a point. It’s the right to a fair and speedy trial. The judge allows you to make a fool of yourself, but it also means that when it comes time to do the sentencing he’ll probably go for the maximum sentence because you’ve shown yourself to be a Jerk not worthy of his discretionary mercy.
