    Ok,
So why didn’t family know this guy was abusive? Didn’t visit maybe?
If they did maybe they would have moved her to a different facility.

Why didn’t the family notify the nursing home of the boyfriend’s violent behavior? Shouldn’t they have been the one to notify the nursing home to put them on guard?

If I put my parent into a nursing home and the myriad of doctors and nurses don’t realize my family member is being physically abused by another patient, the facility SHOULD be held liable.

They were put in the home for their own safety. I can’t monitor them 24/7. That’s what I’m paying the professionals to do — look after my family because I can’t!! Am I missing something?

an unmarried woman in a relationship with a man often calls the man her “boyfriend”, Agent. That’s how that works.

I think you can install a camera now in many states – wasn’t that in the news recently? check on parents via your phone or computer?

Sad story though. Everyone who has ever worked in a home knows there are abusive types that have to be watched or controlled — obviously this got out of hand.
