This issue was caused by the mineral pyrrhotite that was found in one specific quarry in northeast Connecticut that supplied aggregate to one concrete company. Has nothing to do with China. The unfortunate thing is that the one concrete company supplied concrete to pour foundations for tens of thousands of homes over a 30 year period.
