    No one should be surprised by this horrible tragedy.

    Seven innocent people are dead because of a complete failure of a system that refuses to enforce current laws or take necessary action against recurring offenders.The driver should have been locked up and the key thrown away years ago. He is an idiot and should have been deported. It is amazing that there are still drivers out there with mvrs the length of my arm but yet allowed to get behind the wheel. Unbelievable.

    Thank you. With AI these days, it should be easy to generate reports of mutlple serious violations drivers / companies to be reviewed by a state agency that has the authority to shut down the driver(s), albeit temporarily, until a state board reviews the circumstances and directs the case for court review.

    With that said; I wonder why the nationality of the alleged perp matters? It rarely matters in regard to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS from South of the US-Mexico border in reports by liberal media outlets. {rhetorical question} Why does it matter in this case? {/rhetorical question}

    Assuming there is Commercial Vehicle Liability Insurance on the trucking company, what rationalization could an underwriter offer for accepting this risk?
