He removes the compass, therefore can state he had no idea where he exactly was….then he removed a bulkhead and bilge pump which no longer would confine water to a given controlled space, buying time before sinking; then he removes trim tabs and stuffs the holes with paper towels and epoxy, poor seal…renders boat unstable, allows for incoming water to shoot in, bilge pump was never checked, and no use of the emergency system……he set this up skillfully, methodically, in order to control the obvious plan. Why tell his mother to pull in the lines when they were sinking??? Instead, he should have told her to prepare to board the raft. I question whether she was even alive at that point really…..there is so much conclusive evidence here , it is overwhelming. Just like a gun he “lost” earlier…..too many facts and he is very very intelligent as you watch and listen. No way did a guy who did construction on his Vermont home, meticulously, be naiive of this boat modification one after another…no way is he naiive.
