The dead boys parents are responsible for not teaching him gun safety nor common sense.

Perplexed- shouldn’t gun safety be taught in schools given sex ed was sold to us as teaching safe sex?

Because everyone has genitalia that they should know about without shame or fear, not everyone should have to be pushed into using a gun. It’s really quite simple.

Jon- Last time I checked genitalia wasn’t on the SAT and you liberals wonder why our education system is falling. Leave the genitalia to the parents, don’t even get me started on the single parent issues.

The gun owner should have kept their gun in a secure place where a stranger in their home couldn’t access it.

You can come to my house anytime. You won’t know where my firearms are. If for some reason I showed you, there is a 0% chance that you would be able to access them without me or my wife. I repeat. 0%. Not even my super saavy, technologically advance teen can access it without my assistance.

I can’t possible teach my kid about every variable they will encounter. I have a band saw at my house, I bet none of my kids friends’ parents have taught their children shop safety, but you better believe I will be held responsible if someone’s little crotch goblin comes into my house and loses a finger to a band saw.
