Trident Marine Managers (TMM), a managing general underwriter for the specialty marine and offshore energy industries and a part of Ryan Specialty Group (RSG), has appointed Clarke Smith as director of Underwriting.
This move was announced simultaneously along with the opening of TMM’s Boston, Mass., office.
Smith comes to TMM with knowledge of the recreational marine space and more than 30 years of insurance industry experience.
He has a background working in several management and underwriting positions with a carrier, managing general underwriter and broker.
