Plymouth Rock Assurance, an auto and home insurance provider in the Northeast, has launched a new umbrella insurance product for customers across the six states in which it does business. Plymouth Rock’s new umbrella product was designed to give customers and agents the flexibility to add umbrella to either an auto or a home insurance policy.
The product comes just after the release of Plymouth Rock’s digital @Home property insurance product and is available through a customizable interface.
According to Mary Boyd, president and CEO, Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, the new umbrella insurance product allows the company to offer a full package for customers and agents across all six states it does business in.
Umbrella insurance can be especially important for people who may be at higher risk for lawsuits, such as dog, boat and pool owners, and families with teenage drivers.
Plymouth Rock Umbrella insurance is available to Plymouth Rock auto and home insurance customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Plymouth Rock Assurance and Plymouth Rock are brand names and service marks used by separate underwriting, managed insurance, and management companies that offer property and casualty insurance in multiple states. Taken together, the companies write and manage more than $1.6 billion in auto and home insurance premiums.
