The board of directors for Union Mutual Insurance Company voted at their December meeting to promote Jeff Pryce to the role of vice president of claims. The promotion is effective January 1, 2021.
Pryce is based in the company’s Montpelier, Vt., office.
Pryce has worked in the insurance industry for 23 years, and he joined Union Mutual in 2014. While working at the company, he has held the titles of claims examiner, director of underwriting and loss control, and most recently, assistant vice president of claims.
The Union Mutual of Vermont Companies, founded in 1874, is a property/casualty insurance group consisting of Union Mutual Fire Insurance and New England Guaranty Insurance Company Inc., both based in Montpelier, Vt., and Community Mutual Insurance Company, based in Latham, N.Y. The four companies write more than $180 million in direct premium annually through independent agents throughout New England and New York.
