      From the article:
“Researchers at Virginia Tech found that 80% of all crashes involve driver inattention.”

It should not be the role of govt to act as babysitters for the public. Mandatory seat belt law. Mandatory helmet laws. Now, they are dictating what you can do while inside your vehicle.

One person quoted a state that 80% of all creates involve driver inattention. That doesn’t mean phones necessarily. Eating a sandwich? Playing with the radio? Talking to a passenger? Dealing with a crying baby? Should we ban them all?

How dare the gov’t demand what I do in my car. If I want to drink and drive and smoke my medicinal marijuana behind the wheel, that’s my right to do what I want in my vehicle. FREEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM (end sarcasm)
