The Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut (PIACT) elected Shannon Rabbett, of Windsor, Connecticut, as president at the association’s annual business meeting, held virtually on March 4, 2021. She will serve as the association’s president during its 2021-2022 term.
Rabbett is principal of Rabbett Insurance Agency in Windsor, Connecticut.
As an active member of the association, Rabbett was president-elect in 2020-2021; vice president in 2019-2020; treasurer for 2018-2019; and serves as vice president of the Administrative/Nominations Committee. She also is conference chairperson of PIACT’s Association Programs Committee and is a member of PIACT’s Virtual Conference Task Force and the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.
Rabbett also is past president of the Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals.
PIACT is a professional association for independent insurance agents, working to advance the needs of its members and be a voice in the insurance industry.
