More than 50 people have been displaced by a fire at a Delaware apartment, according to the state fire marshal’s office.
Officials estimate that Saturday afternoon’s fire at the Lighthouse Hill Apartments complex in Wilmington caused more then $1 million in damage, the Delaware News Journal reports. No injuries were reported.
Flames were shooting through the roof of the three-story apartment complex when firefighters arrived. The fire damaged a building that housed 12 apartments and an adjoining building.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
