Fast-growing insurance broker King Risk Partners has acquired The Insurance Center, an independent insurance agency in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1973, The Insurance Center serves individuals, families, and businesses in Warwick and throughout Rhode Island, offering personal, business, and life insurance.
Dave Stenhouse, principal of The Insurance Center, said the transaction enables the agency to expand its personal and business insurance offerings.
This acquisition is Florida-based King’s first agency in Rhode Island. reflecting the firm’s commitment to expanding its service to the Eastern and Southeastern regions of the country.
In addition to 15 offices in Florida, and now one in Rhode Island, King Insurance has locations in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
