With more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sakraida most recently served as senior project manager for Comparion Insurance Agency. His career includes managing high-performing sales teams, leading national initiatives, and improving agent efficiency through technology and process optimization.
Pro-Praxis Appoints Washington as VP of Program Underwriting
Pro-Praxis, a program within Starwind Specialty Insurance Services headquartered in New York City, appointed Joseph Washington vice president of underwriting. Washington will oversee one of the company’s “A+” rated programs and spearhead the development of new program business.
With 30 years of underwriting experience, Washington specializes in the property and casualty needs of the healthcare industry, focusing on medical professional liability. Before joining Pro-Praxis, he served as an underwriting manager at Beazley. Previous roles include vice president at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance and assistant vice president at Zurich North America.
