XPT Specialty Hires Corrado as Personal Lines Insurance Broker

XPT Specialty, headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, hired Joseph Corrado as a personal lines insurance broker. Corrado has experience in portfolio oversight, agency partnerships and the Northeastern U.S. insurance landscape.

Corrado works with retail agents along the East Coast to place a wide range of personal lines risks, including homeowners, personal liability and specialty coverages. Corrado will support retail agents across the East Coast, with a primary focus on markets including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, among other states. Before joining XPT Specialty, Corrado served as a personal lines underwriter at Morstan General Agency.

NFP Appoints Favale as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

NFP, an Aon company and leading property and casualty (P&C) broker and benefits consultant headquartered in New York City, named Adam Favale as executive vice president and head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Favale joined NFP in 2010, serving as a leader on the M&A team for over 15 years. He previously spent over six years as vice president of corporate finance at FGIC, an entity ultimately sold by GE Capital. Favale began his career in GE Capital’s financial management program.

Jencap Adds Edge to its Property & Casualty Binding Team

John Michael “JM” Edge, formerly of Amwins, joined Jencap Group LLC’s property and casualty (P&C) binding team as its manager for the Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Denver, Colorado teams. Jencap Group LLC is headquartered in New York City

Edge joins Jencap after spending 10 years at Amwins, building out the Florida office, and most recently with Jupiter Re on their large property program team.
