Zurich in Canada has announced the appointment of Bob Fellows as Senior Vice President, Distribution, Marketing and Communications for Zurich’s business in Canada, effective immediately.
He will be responsible for driving Canada’s distribution strategy and in particular for “accelerating the progress of the Canada Top 50 Broker Program. In his Marketing role,” said the announcement.
Fellows will be headquartered at Zurich’s office in Toronto, and reports to Alister Campbell, CEO for Zurich in Canada, who noted that Fellows has “30 years of experience in the Canadian insurance industry and strong relationships with key members of the Canadian broker community.”
Campbell added that Zurich is “making great progress in the Canadian marketplace – in Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Environmental, Long-haul Trucking and Specialty Lines.”
Fellows joins Zurich after eight years with St. Paul Fire and Marine (Travelers Canada) where he served as President and Chief Agent. He also has held various leadership positions with Royal & Sun Alliance, Allendale Insurance and Arkwright Insurance.
