It’s a SCAM you idiots. Algore and others are becoming bazillionaires by selling carbon credits while they cruise around the world in their private jets.

I have been been crunching the numbers for over 10 years now and concluded that something was seriously wrong with the global warming scaremongers’ data. Recently revealed information (Climategate) confirmed what I thought and what many millions of us thought. Climate change is natural and cyclical.

If the fools in socialist countries want to wreck their own economies they are welcome to do so. But- DON’T TRY TO SPREAD THIS CRAP IN THE USA>

When the U.N. guy says “U.S. willingness to act had built” by “U.S.” he’s not referring to the people who inhabit the land mass of America. He’s referring to those politically connected criminals (a redundancy I know) who would enrich themselves from the “carbon tax” paid by productive people (“productive people” of course excludes all government workers, bureaucrats and politicians).

All you ‘naysayers’ can do is point a finger at Al Gore and say people are profitting, so it’s all a hoax. What about the billions of dollars people/companies stand to lose as we go ‘greener’? Oil companies and pollution-spewing industrial companies? The change to go greener takes as much money out of peoples’ pockets as it puts into others. The numbers you claim to have crunched over the years show something much more severe than normal, cyclical changes. And I’m not referring to Al Gore’s data. I’m at a loss as to how people think the exploding population and technological advances could have no impact.

Why WOULDN’T we want to pollute less and do things that we know are better for our health and the Earth – even if climate change isn’t real? Anyone want asthma or cancer that could have been avoided with cleaner air?

The entire thing is a fraud and has been debunked. I’m amazed that anyone still gives serious consideration to the idea of man-made climate change.

Thanks to most of you for validating my thoughts of the past 10 years I’ve been castigated and vilified for my views, but it seems the Green Weenies were unwilling to listen.
To: Mr Wake Up: Are you aware that in the 70’s (per National Geographic, 1978 I think) all results pointed to a new coming ICE AGE!? Of course, they don’t like to mention this anymore! Frankly, 10-15 years of pollution could not possibly cause the warming we saw beginning in the 90’s.

Mr. Wake Up, if those who are skeptical of man-made global warming are all in the pay of “Big Oil” then why is Exxon Mobil chief executive Rex Tillerson one of the biggest supporters of a “carbon tax?” Hint: because Exxon would profit from such a theft-oops! I mean tax.

The two most important principles to bear in mind when hearing of any political scheme (which is shorthand for socially acceptable theft) are “cui bono?” and “follow the money.”

I’m surprised anyone would take their position based on a partial email trail.

10,000+ emails, some as recently as 2009, confirmation by various reseaerchers that data was manipulated and suppressed, etc.. The only thing affecting our climate is solar activity. In spite of what Gore and his ilk would like for us to believe, this is very far from settled science; in reality, there are more and more holes showing through their theory. Stop wasting our money on this BS.

Itsd funy when you mention wanting to reduce pollution-some of the eco weenies in Calif are defining methane gas produced by cattle to be a pollutant, which needs to be offset by this carbon tax. So if you carry it to its conclusion, then all cattle or any other mammel which produces methane as a part of digesting food would need to be eliminated or curtailed.
Have you given ANY thought as to how silly this really is?
Quit scaring people with things like asthma or cancer. Could it possibly be that we are faced with things like this because in eons past, kids with asthma would have died because of poor medical care and adults did not live long enough because of poor living conditions so they weren’t around long enough to contract cancer?

I’ve given a lot of thought to the issue, actually. And the comment about asthma was concerning a recent study which focused on a group of young children who live next to a bus depot in NY. Because the buses drive by their homes on a constant and frequent basis, these kids have a much higher incident rate of asthma than other kids.

What’s funny is that the only arguments I ever hear out of nonbelievers are that people are profiting from the theory (duh – people find a way to profit from EVERYTHING these days) and that the climate changes are cyclical (which multiple, credible sources say is quite an understatement). I can’t remember anyone ever discussing the need to eliminate cows, and do not believe that the methane they emit is our primary concern, but I believe everyone needs to consider ALL sides of the story and keep an open mind. No one, regardless of what party they belong to, should accept what is shoveled to them by their own side.

Hey Wake Up- WAKE UP! The non-weenies base our skepticism on the bad science of the green weenies and not just the profit motive of hypocrites like Algore. Hiding data and manipulating data should suggest to you that some one is fibbing.

We skeptics are againts polluting the planet with harmful substances- Carbon dioxide is NOT a harmful substance.

Is the little country that’s afraid of getting washed over by the ocean aware that there are barrier islands in florida that are probably going to get washed over too??? And it has nothing to do with the exhaust from my car, or the fact that I don’t use curly flourescent bulbs. All the countries salivating over checks to be forthcoming from the US for all our “carbon sins” ought not to start counting their money just yet. Global Carbon Markets? Are you kidding me?

I think we’re all for conserving….but just not sending all our money to other countries as punishment to ourselves.

China???? They have the most polluted water on the earth!!!!!!!!!

Sorry…it’s Tuvalu….you’ll see if you google the name of the country……evidently it’s NOT SINKING and is part of the hoax of climate change as well………………
