Marsh’s London office announced the appointment of Mike Rogers as head of Marsh ProBroker, its UK community of independent brokers. He joins Marsh from Towergate’s Broker Network where he was Head of Business Development, managing the business development teams across both the Broker Network and Countrywide networks.
Marsh also announced the appointment of Ian Reid to the newly-created role of Commercial Underwriting Manager across its Network business. He is also based in London, and joins Marsh from Towergate London Markets.
Reid will have responsibility for commercial binding authorities and open market wholesale for Marsh Labyrinth, Marsh’s commercial and personal lines network offering. He will also oversee product development for both Marsh Labyrinth and Marsh ProBroker.
Martyn Denney, UK Head of Networks at Marsh, commented: “Both Mike and Ian bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of network offerings to our business. We are experiencing very strong and increasing interest in Marsh ProBroker, especially from independent firms that want to broaden their offerings to clients and boost their revenue.
“Our ambition for Marsh ProBroker and Marsh Labyrinth is to be a leading UK network player, with two very different propositions, by working with progressive and growing businesses. Mike and Ian both bring the industry experience and dynamism required to achieve our goals for growth.”
