Specialty insurer Markel International has appointed Abhishek Chhajer to lead the development of the company’s trade credit business in the Asia Pacific region out of the company’s Singapore office, which forms the hub of Markel’s Asia network and underwrites on behalf of Markel’s syndicate 3000 at Lloyd’s.
He will work with Peter Phillips, managing director of Markel International Singapore and with Ewa Rose, managing director of Markel International’s trade credit division, and the team in London.
