Ahhh, applying American standards to the rest of the world. Most of those countries seem to thrive just fine on their own. Maybe that’s why they hate us so much.

This smells a whole lot like some lawyers trying to cash in on the tragedy than it does about trying to get fair compensation for the people who were injured.

And the cruise line will pay fair compensation without the lawyers getting involved? LOL.

When you hire a lawyer to represent you, you want the smartest guy possible, don’t you? Yes lawyers get paid a lot of money and not just the plaintiffs lawyers. Defense lawyers make a fortune too. Start messing around with lawyer compensation and the smart guys you went to school with will start taking up other professions. Then when you need someone to represent you, you’ll get the guy who to took Shop because it was an easy A.

Yeah, lawyers will be involved & rightfully so for some people. Most of them are blood suckers, however, only concerned about themselves, not necessarily their clients.
