ANV Holdings BV, the Dutch headquartered specialty insurance business founded by R. Matthew Fairfield, announced that Mark Abrahams has joined the firm to lead its Property Underwriting team for ANV Syndicate 1861.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the London Market for Property Lines, and joins ANV after holding senior underwriting roles at Catlin, QBE and most recently Alterra Syndicate 1400. In his role at ANV, he will be responsible for leading the current team and for continuing the growth and diversity of the ANV Property Lines within Lloyd’s.
“Property remains one of the cornerstones of both the London Market as well as our work at ANV Syndicate,” said CEO Fairfield. “Though it is a long established line of coverage, we are always working to provide new approaches and differing perspectives to better address the needs of the market from our team.”
