Global insurance broker Lockton announced that Gordon Duncan has joined the firm as the head of as head of its corporate risks team in Scotland in a move marking a “substantial expansion of its risk advisory capabilities in Scotland.”
Duncan joins Lockton after more than a decade providing risk management advice to corporate clients at Marsh, Ltd, most recently as National Corporate Leader. He was previously with Aon.
Lockton also announced that Gordon McLagan of Marsh and Nichola Martin Griffiths and Armour are also joining Lockton in client service roles on the new Scotland corporate risks team.
The team will work alongside and build upon Lockton’s Professional and Financial Risks operation, based in Edinburgh. Lorraine Boyle will continue to lead that team, enabling Lockton to offer its customer-focused service proposition to a broader spectrum of clients.
Lockton said it “expects to continue its expansion in Scotland with additional hires during the year.”
