The IPCC was severely discredited and it is only the UN who gives them any credence. It’s interesting how the scenario gets graver and graver when more and more people wake up to the fact the IPCC and most environmental groups have a far more political power agenda than anything else.

Turn the page, folks, more smoke and mirrors here. Don’t waste your time.

That you included a picture of a car in an article concerning climate change. And yet…..

Climate-gate should have ended this discussion but no matter how absurd the socialist eco-terrorists continue their work.

The so-called “climate-gate” was debunked and yet climate denialists still cling to it because they have no science on their side. 8 different scientific committees investigated and found that there was no fraud or scientific misconduct in the “climate-gate” emails.

Dave – did you even read the wiki article in your link? It says there were 8 committees that investigated and they found NO FRAUD on the part of the climate scientists. The hacker had filtered the emails and portions of them were taken out of context.

You guys are right, there is nothing to see here. No fraud. No conspiracy. No political agenda. Climate change is real.

The only unknown is if, and how much, humans are contributing to it.

Libby I think you misunderstood my post; I’m agreeing with the wiki and factcheck links. The climate change denialists on here keep spouting off about “climate-gate” as if it revealed some kind of conspiracy among scientists, but in reality the emails were proven to be highly manipulated and egregiously taken out of context time and time again by 8 different independent investigations.

Wikpedia? You guys trust Wikpedia. HAHAHA! Good one. Almost as good as trusting everything Obama has ever said. “Hey, I didn’t know about this either until I turned on the TV this morning. “If you like your healthcare plan you can keep your healthcare plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” Blah, blah, blah.

We are headed or another Polar Vortex this year- in case you didn’t hear. Climate change – pfffffffffffffft.

The wikipedia article I linked is well researched and has dozens of citations. I’d tell you to go directly to the sources and read them for yourself, but I don’t think you’d bother. Too busy devoting all your time and energy seething about Obama and bringing him up in discussions where he has zero relevance. That, and you’re also apparently too stupid to understand the difference between climate and weather.

“Below zero would require extracting carbon dioxide from the atmosphere – for instance by planting forests that soak up carbon as they grow or by burying emissions from power plants that burn wood or other biomass.” Planting more forests! Now there a novel idea. Forest are being cut down at an alarming rate. Faster then the tress can grow. Boycott palm oil!! Forests are the key to keeping our planet healthy.
